Town council welcome friends from Bangalore

WINSFORD Town Mayor Clr Pam Booher welcomed two special visitors to Wyvern House on Thursday.
Manila Carvalho and Sreepriya Unnikrishnan were visiting the town as part of a reciprocal exchange between Over Hall Community School and the Delhi Public School, Bangalore, India.
Manila, who is Principal of the school – which has over 4,000 pupils on roll - and Sreepriya, the School’s head of English, heard how local government services were provided in this area, and were given a brief explanation of local civic traditions and regalia.
Teachers from Over Hall Primary School had visited Bangalore last year.
