Match Pointers
WINSFORD United will need to become the first team to score a goal against Ramsbottom United this season if they are to progress.
Blues followed last Saturday’s win at Formby with a home reverse against St Helens Town in midweek, but manager Chris Willcock is confident they can bounce back tomorrow, Saturday.
He is likely to be without stopper Steve Jardine once more, while goalkeeper Richie Mottram continues to serve a suspension carried over from last season.
Winsford hope to end a match with a full compliment too following dismissals for Ryan Broadhead and Colin McAllister in the past seven days.
Hosts Ramsbottom have beaten Flixton and Premier Division newcomers Barnoldswick Town in their first league encounters.
They have lost two of their past three matches against Winsford at the Riverside though.
Should the contest end in a draw, then the two teams will meet at Barton Stadium in a replay on Tuesday.
